Q How can I get help with the on-line system?
A Call the toll-free tech support hotline whose number is 800-817-5977. The hotline is staffed 24 hrs a day. If you call them and continue to have problems, then you may e-mail the Mission Viejo Invitational office and we will intercede on your behalf.
Q Can I still print out an application and send it in by mail?
A No. The Mission Viejo Invitational no longer is accepting printed or mailed tournament applications. The process of obtaining applications on-line improves the accuracy of our application process and helps us keep costs (and your entry fees) down.
Q What happens to my entry fee if my team is not accepted?
A Your entry fees are refunded if you are not accepted into the tournament. If you paid by cashier's check, you will receive a refund check in the mail. If you paid by credit card, your money is not withdrawn from your credit card unless and until your team is accepted. Those paying with credit cards who are not accepted will have the credit hold for the entry fee removed from their card.
Q I can wait and pay the tournament application fee after I am accepted, can't I?
A No. The Tournament Competition Committee will only consider your application for acceptance after the payment has been received.
Q Since I was only a day late with my application, you will take our team anyway since it is a really good one, right?
A No, we do not accept applications from teams who are late. We turn away as many teams as we can take each year, so it is unfair to those who can make the deadline to displace them with someone who cannot. The best we can do for those who apply late is place them on a waiting list.
Q We are a State Cup championship team and everyone knows that. Why do I have to spend so much time giving you information on our record?
A First of all, everyone doesn't know you are a State Cup Champion team. You need to tell us that and although we will verify what you tell us, we still need you to provide us with your record. Be as complete as you can, as every bit of information helps.
